A Message From Our New Headteacher

Dear Parents and Carers,

I am writing to introduce myself as the new Head teacher of Shears Green Junior School.

As you are aware I was appointed back in March last academic year and have been in contact with the school since then. I have met with governors and staff in order to make plans for the future. I am looking forward to continuing the outstanding work within the school and developing it further. I am particularly looking forward to strengthening the schools partnership with parents in order to ensure the best outcomes for the children so that they thrive.

I have met many of the children already but look forward to meeting all the children this week in assembly and in class.

I was delighted to meet a number of parents at the summer fair in July and look forward to meeting the rest of you in the future. If you would like to meet me do come introduce yourself on Wednesday 14th September or Thursday 15th September in the afternoon as I will be available in the school hall from 3.30pm-4.00 pm on both days.

The new School Manager Mrs Janet Farrell was also appointed last academic year and started before the end of last term. I am sure you will join me in officially welcoming her to Shears Green Junior.
