Shears Green Junior’s football team played Hartley in the quarter final of the cup last week. After a tough start to the match and going one nil down they pulled it back to 2 all at half time. After a quick team talk the boys had new found motivation and went on to win the match with a final score of 7-2. Well done! They will now play Painters Ash or Bean in the semi-finals.
Well done to the Shears Green Quiz team who won the area heats of the Junior Inter-School Quiz Championships on Tuesday. Nine schools took part and our team ended up on top of the pile with a score of 1890! They are now through to the semi-finals. Keep up the hard work- Lorelei, Gabriel, Fiona and Kayleigh.
Football: This week the Year 6 Boys football team took on Culverstone Primary school in the cup. After going one nil down within minutes of the game starting, they fought back to win by 10 goals to 2. Well done boys- keep up the hard work!
