Shears Green Junior School

Learn. Enjoy. Achieve.

Hi and welcome back to another Frandom Blog! This week might be a bit shorter than usual because my week has been absolutely crazy! I would like to start by thanking everyone that has given me positive feedback about my very first blog – it really helps when I’m writing to know that you guys are reading this and enjoying it! Last night, I went to Wagamama with my mum, dad and brother to celebrate my 11+ results. Wagamama is a great restaurant that my family and I all really enjoy. We started going there a few weeks ago and to my surprise, I really liked it!

This week I am going to be talking about school-life, friends, and how to deal with situations that come up while I’m there!

`A big part of school to me is my amazing friends that are always there for me. I am thankful to have so many wonderful people to say hello to every day and who care about me. At school, we have a break and a lunch. At break time, we usually play together with people in our class. But I don’t just play with them; I have friends in every year from the school. Lunch is busy: I often have clubs and when I don’t, I go outside and play with everyone else. Most of the clubs that I go to, my friends do to, but I don’t mind it when they’re not there, because it means I make new friends!

I am writing this in the hall, whilst the rest of my class take part in PE. At the moment in PE, we have been putting out our own equipment in groups and then watching other people perform routines on them. We are lucky enough to have a large climbing frame that, as I am writing this, a boy is currently stuck in (that’s normal Shay for you). I love being able to organise and get out the ropes because it’s interesting to know what the teacher’s do and also working in a group with my friends. Whilst doing this, we have learnt it is good to communicate properly, work as a team and let everyone have a job and take turns.

I think that’s all I have to say for now! Next week I am going on my school trip to Kingswood and might be uploading a blog about that so make sure to come back here and read it! As usual, please go and read everyone else’s blogs this week and at Kingswood! I hope you enjoyed this one and come back for more! Bye
