Read/Listen to Chapters 27, 28, 29 & 30.

Answer comprehension questions about this section of the story.

Lesson 2

 

Lesson 2 – Multiply mixed numbers by integers

 

Read/Listen to Chapters 31, 32, 33, 34, 35 & 36.

This section of the story reaches the climax.  Your task today is to create a front page newspaper report about the events that took place at Lutterall House.

*Your own design for the newspaper can be created, or you can use the template in the T6 Wk1 resources.

Lesson 3

 

Lesson 3 and 4 – Fractions of an amount and fractions as operators.

 

Read/Listen to the final chapters of the book.

Having listened to/read the whole story.  Think about what you enjoyed about the book.

Your task is to persuade people to read/buy the book

You could create a persuasive book review, aiming to get people to buy the book. If you’d prefer, you could create a poster advertising the book, again aiming to get people to buy the book.

Lesson 4

Lesson 5

Arithmetic Year 5 6a and 6b - Typically each test would be about 15 minutes long, although you may choose to work on it at your own pace.  The choice is yours.

 

Grammar and Punctuation Test 2 – work through the questions.
